Oh lil tooth fairy I know you come and pick up the teeth and leave lil treats but see i have a little problem. I have a toothache, so i was wondering if you can just sprinkle that magic dust on it and make it just go away. Plaese oh please!

Have you ever just had that feeling, the feeling that something is just...WRONG, but you can’t figure out what it is until BAM it hits you in the face? Well it sure did for me this morning. Typical day, wake up, made supper, Jon went to work, watched some TV, cleaned up the kitchen, talked with my sister on the phone, packed up and came into work for the night shift.

This morning was a hard one. Death-I would defiantly want to know what actually goes though someone’s mind as they kill another human being. Is it something that people are born with, or something they learn, or is it something they are lacking? I was watching the news last night and they said that they found and confirmed the remains of the little girl from Ontario. Why does someone kill? Joy? Pleasure? Fear? Excitement? Attention? Uncertainty? The sad part is that most of the time the people committing the crime never really understand the pain they cause. They get to live on and be, but the person they took that away from will never be able to.The experiences out here have been pretty intense. It’s hard to really explain it to people because at the end of the day it’s just like reading a book, unless you see the situation or feel it, its just imaginary. It was the same for me; I was blind to so many things. ‘It only happens on the news’. Wake up and smell the coffee people!

This morning was the first time I looked at one of those people in the face, in the eyes, I could see straight though them. It’s scary when you don’t see any emotion, no sympathy, no remorse, no care, no love, no fear, no joy, and no pain. Just a lifeless human being, full of nothing. I understand in this career you see many people who have done a lot of bad things; maybe I was just naive enough to think that those things just happen on TV or in a book.

This past week has been a really long, hard and very stressful week for both Jon and myself. I have to thank my sister for helping me stay grounded and patient. For holding my hand and helping me though. God Bless you Tina. I don’t say it enough, you truly are a blessing and I am proud to have a sister like you. Jon and I and heading to Regina this upcoming weekend. This trip came at the perfect time. We both need to get out and have some fun!

Welcome back

Back to reality. This last trip home has been almost like a roller coaster, up/down/around/up/sharp turn/etc. however very productive {I have to thank my sister for that one, she is my inspiration (in·spi·ra·tion)}. She has made me realize things that I never thought possible. She has pushed me to make a decision. She brought me up when I was down. And finally she let me be #1.

My mom had an awesome BBQ on fathers day. It turned out to be such a nice day out. Friends and Family. However Jon wasn't feeling the greatest and went to lay down and I followed. We both had fallen asleep for the majority of the afternoon. All and all the food was delicious and everything turned out perfect! Thanks MoM!!

Steven is getting super big, 5 years old, gosh! Time flys by. I can't believe how fast kids catch on to things. You let them get away with something one time and your screwed!! We had a good time together, every moment cherished!

Little Kami's, My goodness! She just wants to walk everywhere or she wants to be held. But at the end of the day I didn't mind so much because they do grow up fast and sooner then we think, we're not gonna be able to lift them up! She also loves talking! blah blah blah! i swear it all means something, she def. makes you understand! *Tina she will be waring a pretty bow/flower in her hair for the Wedding!!!* xox

Just a little while

I know its been awhile since my last post! I have not forgotten about you, little blog.
So I'm back in Winnipeg for a little while. I've only been here for 2 weeks and already my head is spinning in every direction. I missed everyone here so very much. My niece and nephew have grow so much. Steve's gonna be 5 very very soon! It's crazy how fast things go, how fast little ones grow up!

I'm just on my way to bed! Goodnite moon, Goodnite little star.

what a scare!

Yesterday afternoon i let Rookie outside for about 15mins, when he came back inside he was hacking/licking/sneezing/barking pretty much freaking out. After getting him settled (him still hacking) i tried to pull the bulimic approach but it didn't quite work. So after pacing and following him around the house making sure he doesn't stop breathing Jon came home. He tried to calm him down but Rookie was having no part of anything. So now Jon tries to make him puke, Nothing. *sigh* this was going on ALL night. We talked to a few people seeking advice and it helped a lot, definitely help calm me down! So around 1am I decided to was time to go to bed. Tossing and turning over and over gettting up every hour on the hour just to see if he was ok, finally after he came into our room and calmed down a little i fell asleep. Got up this morning with Jon and found a lump of YUK stuff he obviously yaked up in the middle of the night. What a relief!! Thank you to all the people that helped! Muah!

Its TUESDAY today, yay! 2 more days and we're flying outta here!!

EEK!! The first spider of the year, YUK! Sorry if it rains tomorrow people, I just had to smoosh him. Honestly I asked him to pack his bags and leave but he just didn't wanna listen, so POW/BONK/SMASH, I smooshed him!

I was sitting in the living room this afternoon looking outside and discovered that the weed like things growing are pussy willows (The terminology pussy willows is used loosely to refer both to the trees themselves and to the furry buds on its branches). Its nice to see that spring really is coming!

Tiny update

Happy Easter everyone!

Friday night was Poker night!! Guess what?¿--I wON! whoot whoot! It's not about how much we play for ($), its just about getting out and having a good time!

Saturday night the nurses invited all 10 of us over for Easter dinner. Everyone brought something, there was about 25 people. I've never been away from home on Easter, it was nice to be with everyone.

Tonight I made Roast beef, roast potatos, veggies, yorkshore, and gravy. Hopefully it'll be yummy!!!

Jon and I have been playing Mario Kart!! SO much fun!!
Goal= to take over first place.

Less then 2 weeks and we're back in Winnipeg!!! WHOOT!
