Finally booked our flights home! 1 more full day, *sigh*..

Pum-a-what?

So i've discovered a new yummy fruit!! It's a Pummelo! It looks like a grapefruit on steroids but tastes sweeter. I think this may almost be my fav. new fruit.
You peel it pretty much the same as an orange however you don't eat the skin stuff, only the pulp. The peel is super thick which can make it a little harder to peel. Just pop it into the fridge, it's easier to peel when its cold. Here's a pic!!!

Project numero uno!

I'm currently making a baby blanket. I LOVE crocheting!! I can't really follow any pattern yet SO I just make my own!

Hmm....what is new...We're moving in less then 10 months! I know it doesn't seem that close but to me thats all I have to hold on to right now!

hello house!

All moved in, Kinda!!! I currently have a kitchen, living room and half a bedroom....i do not have the other 2 spare rooms...yet. That is my mission for the next couple days. I work the early shift all week which is kinda nice, yeah i don't get to sleep in but i have allllllllll afternoon to unpack.

97 days everyone! Time is flying by, everyone kept saying that days will go faster and faster as time gets closer, and boy oh boy were they right. Not much left to do....i think....

The new job is going great...so far. This week will be my first full week of work and i'm kinda excited! Wish me luck peeps!

Adventures in Stoon

Day 1 in good ol' Saskatoon! Today was such a good day, got up at 7am dropped puppy and Jon off at the airport, went to Starbucks for coffee to read my book. I headed over to the mall where I found the best deals ever! Made my way over to my cuzins and went out for lunch, then went to walmart. I was making my way over to the hotel when I decided to go renew my license. Right beside SGI was JYSK I went in just to walk around and to kill some time. They had pretty much everything on sale!!! I bought one of those oil diffusers (rasberry), a really nice creamy colored table cloth, a smaller black table cloth and a string panel. THEN i finally made my way over to the hotel to check in.
I was expecting the hotel room to be just like every other hotel...your typical striped bed cover.....hard bed...mushy pillows...blah blah blah. Well I walked into my room and it is amazing! Big pillow top mattress, fluffy duvet, marshmallow pillows, mini fridge, tv, cool bathroom! *sigh* relaxation!
I was debating going down to eat some supper earlier and I wasn't sure how to charge it to the room (its a business trip). So I asked the front desk how I go about doing it and she says, 'well you may come down to the restaurant and just tell the person serving you that you would like to charge it to your room OR just order room service!!!!!!!!!!! I'll give you one guess what I did!?!?!?! You got it, ordered room service! It was sooooooo yummy, stirfry with rice and some yummy ginger sauce.
Tomorrow I start training 10am wish me luck!

Nerves

I got a new job! I start training on Sat. Jon is flying up on friday morning and I get to stay in Stoon for training. I've never stayed in a hotel by myself. Sounds kinda stupied but i'm not looking forward in having breakfast and supper alone in a restaurant. However I will probably get a lot of reading in. I started reading twilight, never thought i would be into it but I like them!
